CPKN announces new Innovation Advisor

The Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN) is pleased to announce Dominic Mallett as the new Innovation Advisor.

The Innovation Advisor works closely with the Director of Innovation, Chantelle Ivanski, as well as CPKN’s National Advisory Committee and subcommittees.

“Dominic has exceptional expertise and experience in topics that our network has been interested in such as developing micro-credential courses” said Ivanski. “I’m thrilled he will be bringing his perspective to the Department of Innovation.”

Mallett comes to the team with a background in higher education. His previous roles as an education specialist, and curriculum consultant have equipped him with experience in instructional design, micro-credentialing, and customized training.

“I’m looking forward to enhancing structure and policies to ensure efficiency within the network,” said Mallett. “I’m excited to contribute to the diverse and constantly changing landscape of the police and public safety communities.”
