This course is an introduction to Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and will familiarize you with the concepts, principles and practices of CPTED.
This course will be of particular interest to front line police officers, city employees, architects, planners, developers, academics and volunteers working in the field of or who have a special interest in crime reduction, crime prevention, and community planning and problem solving.
This e-learning course is organized into three modules and designed to take candidates two hours to complete. Going through all of the supplemental information could add additional time.
Candidates should expect a score of 80% to be considered successful in this course.
