CPKN Courses and AI Labelling
CPKN will start identifying when AI has been used in course development, paving the way for transparency in eLearning.

To promote transparency and innovation, CPKN will add a symbol to identify when artificial intelligence (AI) was used in course development. Whether the course was built in-house by us or supplied by our clients, this symbol will build both trust and credibility for CPKN in the eLearning sector.
Responding to recommendations from our National Advisory Committee and Innovation Subcommittee, this move reflects a growing commitment to responsible AI use. By clearly marking AI involvement, CPKN aims to align with emerging ethical and legal standards around AI disclosure. The labeling may also serve as a safeguard in cases where misinformation occurs from AI-generated content in client materials.
The symbol, featuring three stars, is based on a globally recognized symbol for AI-generated content and is a simple, yet impactful action that positions CPKN as a forward-thinking leader in eLearning and proactive toward AI governance.
