The Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Pierre St-Antoine, Director General, National Police School of Quebec (ENPQ), to the Board of Directors effective July 1, 2025.
“Director St-Antoine's leadership in overseeing police training across the province of Quebec, brings a valuable provincial and cultural perspective to our national work,” said Sonia Poulin, President, CPKN. “His insight will help ensure that the needs and realities of Quebec’s policing and public safety communities are reflected in everything we do.”
With almost 35 years at ENPQ and having held several strategic roles, Director St-Antoine became Director General and Board member at ENPQ in July 2020. In this position, he oversees training for police and public safety personnel across Quebec. Additionally, he also serves as the Chair of ENPQ's Commission on Training and Research, is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Quebec Association of Chiefs of Police, and is a member of the Intersection Network, which brings together community policing professionals.
Under his leadership, ENPQ has achieved unprecedented growth, both on campus and beyond. In response to government requirements, the School has implemented new practices, promoted innovation, and provided high-quality training to an increasing number of police and public safety personnel, all while operating within limited organizational capacity.
Previously, in his role as Director of Institutional Affairs and Communications, he led communications, international relations, and project management. He organized major events, fostered national and international partnerships, and overseen strategic planning and large-scale projects. Notably, in 2008, St-Antoine co-founded FRANCOPOL, an international French-speaking network for police training. He continues to serve as ENPQ’s strategic advisor and the Chair of the School’s FRANCOPOL committee.
“Director St-Antoine brings a powerful combination of vision, innovation, and dedication to advancing police training,” said Poulin. “His passion for emerging technologies and commitment to continuous improvement are matched by his collaborative spirit and leadership. He is a true changemaker in the field, and we are proud to welcome him to our Board.”
