Research Symposium

Thank you for joining us

The Community Safety Knowledge Alliance (CSKA) and the Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN) hosted the inaugural CSKA and CPKN Research Symposium from February 25 to 27, 2025.

The theme of the symposium was, “Exploring and Implementing Trauma-Informed Policing.”

Why Attend?

This two-day event convened practice leaders and innovators to where they shared emerging trends, discussed lessons learned, and offered fresh insights into the challenges and opportunities confronting policymakers, police leaders, and practitioners in their pursuit of effective trauma-informed practices.

Participants had a unique and comprehensive opportunity to explore and engage with the latest research and evidence-based practices that local police services and their personnel can adopt and implement.
