Reporting to the President, you will be accountable for the strategy, performance, growth, and evolution of CPKN’s portfolio of products and services.

You will:

• Play a key leadership role in building and evolving CPKN’s Product Ownership Model.
• Manage up to five Product Leads and drive strategy, priorities, performance, and evolution across CPKN’s portfolio of products and services.
• Build strong cross-functional alignment around product and service priorities and outcomes, working closely with all departments and teams.
• Strengthen how CPKN measures the performance, financial sustainability, adoption, client and sector value, and impact of its products and services to inform decisions and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to grow, improve, and innovate across existing and new products, services, and markets.
• Ensure product and service decisions balance client and sector value, mission impact, and long-term financial sustainability.

You bring significant leadership experience in product management, service development, business strategy, innovation, or a related field, including experience building, establishing, or significantly evolving product and service capabilities, operating models, or ways of working.

You understand product and service lifecycles, client and market needs, performance and financial considerations, and can lead effectively in complex environments.

You are an effective change leader who can work across organizational boundaries, influence outcomes, build strong relationships, and create clarity.

You understand how to balance mission, client, and sector value, and financial sustainability in a not-for-profit or mission-driven environment or bring experience that demonstrates your ability to do so.

Knowledge of policing and public safety is important to us. Experience within or closely connected to the sector is strongly preferred, although we also welcome candidates who can quickly develop a strong understanding of the environment and the needs for the community we serve.

CPKN is a national organization headquartered in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. While our headquarters and the majority of our team are based in Prince Edward Island, hybrid and remote work arrangements will be considered for the successful candidate, providing flexibility in where this role can be based.

The salary range is $105,000–$125,000 with starting salary based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. CPKN’s broader compensation framework is currently under review.
