Registration closes for the 2026 CPKN Conference on September 4.

The countdown is on for the 2026 CPKN Conference. With technology continuously changing and emerging, this event provides a space for police and public safety professionals to explore the newest innovations in the field.
From September 22 to 24, 2026, delegates will join us in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island to explore the theme: From Simulations to Street: Technology that Connects Training to Performance.
The conference will present various sessions to dig into this theme such as “Train How You Fight: Using Adversary Simulation to Validate Real World Performance” with Jessica Lewis, Deputy Chief, Parliamentary Protective Service, “From Technique to Decision-Making: Integrating Shooting Simulators to Improve the Development and Maintenance of Shooting Skills” with Roman Barba, Educational Technology Consultant, École nationale de police du Québec, “The Next Generation: Training Maritime Recruits with Cutting Edge Technology” with Mike Rotsma, Inspector, Atlantic Police Academy, and more. In addition to the two full days of sessions, delegates will experience many opportunities to connect with their peers from across the country. The conference hosts a networking reception, many designated networking breaks, and a traditional East Coast lobster dinner.
Since the delegation is made up of those responsible for delivering, managing, and shaping training within their organizations, along with senior leaders who influence policy, priorities, and investment in training and development, we invite those in attendance to open discussions across leadership levels to support moving police and public safety training forward.
In previous years, 100 per cent of post-event survey respondents believe the information presented at this conference was applicable to their current role, and that they were able to make new connections for their personal network.
