Course Overview
The purpose of this course is to define sexual assault and consent, discuss key case law decisions that relate to the topic of consent and recognize common myths associated with sexual assault investigations. This training will address existing legislation and consent law and discuss common myths and stereotypes surrounding sexual assault.
This is a National course. Candidates are given access to this course and exam based on their functions within the RCMP. Once all 6 modules have been completed, the final exam can be taken. When a passing grade of 80% is achieved on the exam, the course will be deemed complete and will be recorded in HRMIS.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
