New leadership strengthens CPKN’s focus on products, services, and the needs of the Network.

The Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN) is pleased to welcome Lindsay Sutherland as our new Director of Products and Services. This new leadership position is an important step in CPKN’s evolving Product Ownership Model and our commitment to meeting the changing learning and professional development needs of Canada’s policing and public safety communities.
In her new role at CPKN, Lindsay will lead strategy, performance, growth, and evolution of its products and services. She will work closely with teams across CPKN and the Network to ensure our offerings remain relevant, responsive, and sustainable while supporting the evolving needs of policing and public safety.
“Lindsay brings more than 15 years of experience in publishing, product development, business development, sales, marketing, and strategic leadership,” said Sonia Poulin, President, CPKN. “Her unique skillset, vision, and strong connections to the policing and public safety community will be an excellent complement to our leadership team as we continue to evolve, innovate, and strengthen the value we bring to our Network.”
Most recently, Lindsay served as the Managing Director of TNT Justice Consultants, where she led the organization through a period of growth and change. There, she focused on product innovation, strategic direction, operations, and financial performance.
Prior to that, she spent more than a decade with Emond Publishing, where she worked exclusively in the law and justice space. While in various roles, she focused on understanding market needs, identifying opportunities, developing and improving products and services, and building strong teams and relationships to bring those ideas to life.
Her connection to police training and education runs deep. Lindsay currently serves as the Vice President of the Canadian Association of Police Educators (CAPE) and previously served as CAPE’s Director of Communications and as a Board Member at Large. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police Education, Training, and Professional Development Committee, where she contributes to discussions around the evolving education, training, and professional development needs of the Ontario policing community.
