Conference Logistics

The 2019 Stanhope Conference will be hosted at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The Confederation Centre of the Arts was founded in 1964 as Canada's National Memorial to the Fathers of Confederation, who gathered at Province House in 1864 to discuss the creation of our country. Created for all Canadians, it is a place where our country's history and multicultural character is celebrated and where the talents of its people are nurtured and showcased.

The Confederation Centre is within easy walking distance to many Charlottetown attractions, restaurants, art galleries, and shops. To view local places of interest, please visit the Discover Charlottetown website.

Delegates are responsible for travel to and from Prince Edward Island, as well as ground transportation while on the Island. For delegates arriving by air, the conference venue is located approximately 6 km from the Charlottetown Airport.
