CPKN Conference

Save The Date:

September 22 - 24, 2026

The CPKN Conference is an annual event dedicated to sharing knowledge, best practices, and emerging trends in police professional development.

Formerly known as the Stanhope Conference and created in 2007, it has evolved to meet the changing needs of Canada’s policing community. Each year, the agenda highlights training priorities and insights gathered from our Network.

Why Attend?

Connect with innovators, training managers, practitioners, and decision-makers to explore challenges, discover solutions, and advance professional development.

Learn, discuss, network with peers transforming the future of policing in Canada.

Abstract Submission

This year’s theme is From Simulation to Street: Technology that Connects Training to Performance. The focus will be on technology integration and artificial intelligence (AI), highlighting practical ways to integrate digital tools, simulation platforms, and adaptive learning to enhance training, education, and performance in real-world settings.

We welcome submissions from presenters across Canada, as well as internationally, that share knowledge, highlight emerging issues, or showcase collaborative approaches in technology integration and advancements in AI that strengthen learning and practice across the public safety landscape. Accepted submissions will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful discussions, connect with peers, and showcase expertise to a broad audience.

Before submitting, please review the submission guidelines to ensure your abstract meets the necessary criteria. We look forward to your contributions and an inspiring event ahead.

Deadline to submit an abstract is Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
