Ontario Police Video Training AllianceFormed in 1996, the Ontario Police Video Training Alliance is a member-driven organization designed to meet the unique needs of Ontario's police training community. OPVTA videos address a wide variety of topics, procedures and policies and are shot and edited by members of the Niagara Regional Police Video Unit. In January 2009, OPVTA launched OPVTA WEB, an online learning portal hosted by CPKN. This portal enables OPVTA members to access OPVTA training resources 24/7 in a secure online environment. Though part of CPKN’s Learning Management System (LMS), the OPVTA portal is only accessible to OPVTA members. This new delivery model provides members with a range of benefits to enhance in-service training at no additional cost. To access OPVTA Web, click here. |
