Alzheimer's disease provides unique challenges to emergency search and rescue efforts. This course will assist police and emergency services to learn about the distinguishing characteristics of persons with Alzheimer's disease who may become lost; effective communication strategies to use when interacting with the public; the Safely HomeŽ program; and vital information to help reunite lost persons with their family members.
This course is designed for police and emergency services personnel.

The completed form must be signed by your supervisor and returned by fax to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Safely Home Coordinator at 416-488-3778.
