Harassment Awareness

This course was originally developed by the RCMP and has been repurposed by CPKN for a national police audience.

Harassment Awareness

Harassment in the workplace affects not only the specific parties involved, but can also impact on an organization as a whole. Harassment can result in harm to the victim and various costs such as time, money, embarrassment, and the potential loss of employment. Serious complaints can cast a negative light on an organization as a whole.

A healthy workplace reflects an atmosphere of professionalism, accountability, respect, integrity, compassion, and honesty. Harassment awareness is essential in any organization that promotes these values among employees at every level. The Harassment Awareness in the Workplace course aims to improve the safety and well-being of all police officers by enhancing officers' understanding and awareness of harassment.
