Sandy has been involved in the e-learning industry since 2002 as the Executive Director of the Justice Knowledge Network (JKN). He has a varied background that includes senior management positions within the public service, with a specialization in IT related Project Management for various government departments. Such postings include Public Works Canada, PEI Health Agency, Veterans Affairs Canada and an assignment with Veterans Affairs Australia.
Sandy's expertise lies in relationship management, negotiation, risk management and team building. A native of Nova Scotia, Sandy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University and a Masters of Business Administration from Dalhousie University.
Sandy helped broker the partnership agreement with Holland College's JKN and the National Research Council's PoliceLearn.com (spearheaded by John Arnold) to form the Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN) in March 2004.
